North Sonar HA550 Front Wing Black 2023

The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing series was developed to provide the highest possible speed and efficiency in various disciplines ranging from kitefishing to lying foiling. With this type of wing, generating gliding flight requires minimal pumping motions and effort. The shorter chord length determines the thickness of the profile, and a slim profile reduces drag. The span provides stability and a slightly larger turning radius than a wing with a lower aspect ratio and the same size. The wing tips have been refined to ensure no air circulation when you tilt the wing, allowing you to make turns with a smaller radius at higher speeds without losing speed. The smaller HA550 has less airfoil and a higher stall speed. They are designed to generate maximum efficiency and elevator for high-speed wing foiling, racing and kitefoiling.
