JP Australia Windsurfboard Ultimate Wave S-tec 2025

The JP Ultimate Wave has long been part of the JP windsurfboard program. It is the board used as the benchmark for wave performance. It is the board that dominates the stages at the IWT wave tour and the Aloha classic in the Wave Performance discipline!

For the 2025 Ultimate Wave Pro, a mix was made with the tail of the magic wave and the nose of the 2023 ultimate wave. The result is a more comfortable board that is even better in the waves and plans sooner! The innovation of the year is a brand new technology called S-TEC, which takes board performance to a whole new level. This year's standout detail is our groundbreaking S-TEC technology, introduced for the first time in the JP lineup. The weight savings are impressive: this generation of Ultimate Wave boards is about 700 grams lighter! This is achieved through a number of important changes:

• No paint
• Reduction of anti-slip, only used in standing areas
• Smaller pads - less EVA and less glue
• Elimination of the rear center fin box
• Refined custom lamination process, where the fibers are individually prepared and laminatedThe durability remains at the proven level by replacing the Innegra material with more high-quality S-glass, combined with Biax-Carbon reinforcements and UD Carbon layers under the high-density PVC. In addition, the lower laminate no longer stops at the fold line but wraps around the rail. Together with the overlapping deck laminate, it acts as an additional stringer along the rails, providing more rigidity and reinforcement to the rail at the same time
