The fastest JP Foil board got even faster this year. In the world of racing, development never stands still. New foils, new sails and the constantly increasing skill of riders require constant updates
In 2024, the PWA allows only one size foilboard in a racer's equipment. Therefore, our main sizes had to continue to outperform the competition and were redeveloped. Werner Gnigler has shaped three new boards to cover all PWA Slalom conditions. This way every rider can find his best performing board depending on his weight and the conditions in which he will use it.
The 91 remains the same, covering the light wind range and will be used in low wind national events. Meanwhile, the proven 78 still covers the high wind segment and long distance events such as the famous DEFI Wind.
The main changes to the JP Hydrofoil Pro are:
JP Hydrofoil Slalom Pro 78
JP Hydrofoil Slalom Pro 80
JP Hydrofoil Slalom Pro 85
JP Hydrofoil Slalom Pro 88
JP Hydrofoil Slalom Pro 91
For high durability: the parabolic rail reinforcements act as a stringer along the rail, resisting shocks and paint chips and increasing rigidity.
large cutout on the deck and large washers: Previous Foil-Tuttlebox boards came with a large cutout and washer only for the rear Tuttlebox screw. As of 2021, all Tuttle Foil boards feature boxes with 40 mm cutout (front and rear hole) and a 35 mm washer for additional support and to distribute force during foiling and for better handling.
Your friends and family are constantly taking your board and changing the size of your footstraps? No problem anymore! JP's Footstrap scale allows for easy foot size adjustment.
