The kite that has not only spawned a riding style, but an entire generation of kiters, has evolved into the best performing Switchblade to date. While maintaining the familiar Switchblade DNA, the creatives on the Design Works team have evolved this 5-strut design using new technologies, construction techniques and internal modifications to give a more playful, lighter kite while still remaining predictable and stable. This Apex Series kite uses the Teijen D2 Ripstop Canopy, making this the lightest Switchblade to date. Combined with the super-light bladders, the kite's weight has been significantly reduced, while extending its lifespan and improving its steering precision.
