The Cabrinha Fusion Aluminum foil masts are made with an eye toward a good combination of performance, ease of use and ruggedness. The Fusion Alloy mast is made from aircraft grade extruded aluminum extruded anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, resulting in an incredibly rigid and hydrodynamic structure. Helicoil inserts for the screws eliminate saltwater corrosion around the screw connection points. It integrates seamlessly into all 9 cm industry-standard foil boxes.

The connection to the fuselage used a precision tapered connection between fuse and mast for optimal rigidity.
