The deployment range of the different sizes of AFS WILF wings is as follows:

• 2.8 meters, width 2.5 meters deployable between 20 and 40 knots of wind
• 3.4 meters, width 2.7 meters deployable between 18 and 35 knots of wind
• 4.0 meters, width 2.9 meters deployable between 15 and 33 knots of wind
• 5.0 meters, width 3.3 meters deployable between 10 and 28 knots of wind
• 6.0 meters, width 3.65 meters deployable between 8 and 25 knots of wind

AFS WILF wing

This AFS WILF wing has a standard round wing outline and is intended for a wide range of use. The Aviator's handles are ergonomically positioned and shaped for efficient power transfer. These handles reduce the risk of forearm fatigue and allow for longer sessions.

The compact and stable profile allows you to jibe without worrying about your wing and, above all, to surf without thinking about it. The variable diameter of the leading edge ensures maneuverability and a smaller pressure. A thicker leading edge in the middle avoids any distortion of your AFS WILF wing in high wind range or during jumps. A thinner diameter leading edge at the ends allows this AFS wing to "breathe" to optimize airflow.

It was chosen to have only two wide handles (2.8m2, 3.4m2, 4m2, 5m2 - and three on the 6m2), allowing for optimal hand placement and a light wing. You can then position your hands however you like to find the position that suits you. A deflation valve is located on the center strut, making it easier to deflate and store your wing.

The spinnaker tension is maximized to provide a wide range of use.This tight profile allows the generation of a constant force to deal with light winds.The cavity of the WING is marked by an extra panel between the strut and the canvas vn the wing.This gives you a direct feel and efficient pumping.
